Conquest Fitness Foundation COVID-19 Preparedness Plan Parents and Participants
The Conquest Fitness Foundation (CFF) is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our staff, volunteers, participants, and parents. To ensure we have a safe and healthy environment we have developed the following COVID-19 Preparedness Plan. This document is based off of MDHHS guidelines and will be adjusted as guidelines evolve.
Participant Screening Process Overview Below is an overview of the screening process to be utilized for all participants during in-person Conquest Fitness Foundation programming, as required by local, state, and federal regulations and guidance:
Self-assessment:
Before attending a Conquest Fitness Foundation program, participants should self-assess to ensure that they have NOT experienced any of the following symptoms before attending a program: fever, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, diarrhea
i.If a participant has experienced any of the symptoms above, they should refrain from attending the program for 3 days with no fever or 7 days since the first symptom
Temperature: We will use an infrared, no contact thermometer to take each participant’s temperature upon his/her arrival at program.
Participants who test positive for COVID-19 should not attend program and will be directed to self-quarantine for 10 days (from the date of the positive test).
Participants who have come into close contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 should not attend program and will be directed to self-quarantine for 10 days from the last date of contact with that individual. Close contact is defined as closer than six feet for a prolonged period of time.
Safety Plan Below is an overview of the safety plan to be utilized by participants as required by local, state, and federal regulations and guidance. Handwashing
Participants should use hand sanitizer when arriving AND leaving the program.
Hand-sanitizer will be provided.
Participants should wash hands thoroughly after using the restroom.
Participants are instructed to cover their mouth and nose with their sleeve or a tissue when coughing or sneezing and use hand sanitizer if it is not possible to wash your hands.
Participants should avoid touching their face. (In particular their mouth, nose, and eyes.)
Face Masks:
For non-contact and contact sports practice and competition, face masks are not required for unvaccinated individuals when conducted outdoors.
Fully vaccinated participants, coaches, and other team personnel do not need to wear face masks while participating in organized sports, indoors and outdoors. This applies to both contact and non-contact organized sports.
While face masks are not required for organized sports practice or competition outdoors, MDHHS strongly recommends that individuals who are not fully vaccinated participating in contact sports activities remain masked outdoors.
Visitor Policy Parents may stay to watch the program, but no more than two visitors are allowed per participant.
Additional Information:
Individuals should use their own gear/equipment when possible to help minimize sharing of equipment.
Individuals are encouraged to bring their own food, drinks, and/or water.
Staff Screening:
Staff who test positive for COVID-19 will be directed to self-quarantine for 10 days (from the date of the positive test).
Staff who have come into close contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 will be directed to self-quarantine for 10 days from the last date of contact with that individual. Close contact is defined as closer than six feet for a prolonged period of time.
Staff Sanitation Processes:
