Job Description: The Conquest Fitness Foundation is seeking qualified individuals to instruct prepared lessons plans for the Mid- Day Movers program which will run for the 2023 – 24 school year. The Mid - Day Mover program was established to help schools increase the lack of physical education offered at their school. All coaches hired will be responsible for overseeing the Mid-Day Movers Program by leading the activities, assisting participants in the activities, and maintaining a fun and safe environment. This program is held at multiple schools in the greater Lansing area during the hours ranging between 11am – 3pm, Monday – Friday. Coaches must represent The Conquest Fitness Foundation by providing a positive, educational, and professional experience that encompasses our mission. Job Expectations include: Complete 5 hours of pre-program training Take time to review weekly lesson plans each week. Be on time. Stay engaged and communicate with the Program Director on day-to-day operations Take attendance each session and provide weekly reports Be a positive role model and maintain relationships with both participants and staff Possess the ability to work with up to 25 participants at a time Maintain the ability to work with a variety of fitness levels and attention spans while keeping the participants engaged and on task Stay up to date on all certifications and new training protocols.
Qualifications - What we’re looking for: • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED • Certification from an accredited institution in Personal Training • An upbeat attitude and willingness to support participants as needed • An extremely dependable and detail-oriented person • A team player that is extremely self-motivated and has a positive attitude • CPR and AED certified • Ability to stand for duration of session, and lift up to 50 pounds • 1 year of personal training experience preferred
