- To all of you who sacrificed your hard-earned dollars to support this event on my behalf: I thank you most sincerely! Your generosity was a huge motivator and helped to keep my focus on point throughout the day.
- To everyone who called, texted, tweeted and posted: Thank you for the boosts and words of encouragement. I could absolutely feel the love and Lord knows I needed it at more than one point! :)
- To the warriors who embarked on this quest: Well done and I am so grateful to have been included in this spectacular day! Check this off as a bucket list item that we never knew existed.
- To Hawk Hollow Golf Properties and Staff: Many thanks for having 84 different holes of golf for us to play while serving us expertly as we navigate the day.

"Truly blessed to be able to participate in this event. 84 holes played. Started at 7:30am, finished at 8:30pm, taking only an 1 hour break for lunch. Weather was a little bit of everything, mist, rain, heavy wind, but ended in sunshine. 84 holes came out to a par of 311, I finished +19 for the day with a total of 330 strokes. Amazing, as we sit reflecting on our day we discussed how to improve this event for next year."

"I am happy to report that 84 holes of golf were completed yesterday! Our group of 6 golfers had a 7:30 am start at Eagle Eye under cloudy skies with a few sprinkles and fast greens. We managed to complete 18 holes in just under 3 hours! 9 holes at The Falcon and 12 holes at Woodside were completed quickly and we teed off at Hawk Hollow slightly before 3 pm. A heavy downpour slowed us down a bit but we managed to finish our final 18 holes on Little Hawk at 8:30 pm. A long day highlighted by a hole in one on Little Hawk led to a celebratory beverage in the grill and a slightly sore back. Par for the day was 311 and I managed to score 342, just 31 shots over par. Most importantly our group raised over $5,300"

The Conquest Golfathon went very well considering it was the first time ever Hawk Hollow Golf Properties allowed for 84 holes played in one day. We started out on Eagle Eye at 7:30am and my threesome (Andre Hutson and Dr. Gary DiStefano) finished in under 3 hours while I ended up at even par 72. Next up was the 9 hole Falcon "Executive" Course which has a links style look and plays to a rather difficult par 31. I struggled on the greens with 19 putts contributing to a frustrating (+3) 34. Then we loaded up our cars and drove around the corner to Woodside GC which is a unique 12 hole layout with the original 9 holes winding through some woods before opening up a bit for holes 10-12. I hit the last 11 greens converting on 4 birdies to leave Woodside -4 and -1 for the first 39 holes completed. The 6 golfers who took on this quest to complete 84 holes now joined up at the Hawk Hollow GC grill for a much needed lunch break. Shortly after 3pm we were fueled and ready to begin the final 45 holes. I had been hitting the ball close all day but the putts were just skirting the edge. After lunch my ball striking seemed to have stayed back in the grill room so I struggled for most of the round at Hawk Hollow before consecutive birdies to finish put me at 73 and Even in all after 57 holes. Holes 19-27 at Hawk Hollow are carved out of an old gravel pit and the middle 4 holes have water that comes into play. I lost 2 strokes to par which left me with 18 holes remaining on the Little Hawk real grass putting course. The Little Hawk course is like putting on a well manicured fairway and I went out in 3 under which got me back to under par for the day. With nine holes left and the lights turned on my feel and depth perception resulted in both a double and a quad for an inward 9 of +4 and a 84 hole total of +3. All in all it was a memorable day. I tallied over 26,000 steps for 12.6 miles and with the help of many we raised over $5,300. As the 4 of us who conquered the 84 hole 13 hour day sat around in the Hawk Hollow grill (celebrating the hole in one Eric Fink had on Little Hawk #11), we talked about how we could all do better next year!
Thanks for all who supported us and I hope to see you in the fairway...or the gym!
