The Mid MI Young Movers Scholarship is designed to create a funding mechanism to actively support our local youth in pursuing their athletic endeavors. The scholarship will help ensure trained sports volunteers and staff training, access to equipment and facilities, and help eliminate the financial disparity among young athletes who wish to participate in sports.
There are countless statistics linking a youths involvement in sports to both their emotional and physical health, and yet too many children don't have the resources to participate. The Conquest Fitness Foundation aims to provide annual and ongoing grants for youth to participate in sports programs throughout Mid-Michigan, to ensure that no child is left on the sidelines. The positive benefits of youth sports participation are overwhelming, yet for many Americans, including the nearly 13 million children living in poverty, access to youth sports is incredibly challenging.
In response, the Conquest Fitness Foundation continues to raise funds and awareness for our Mid MI Young Movers Scholarship. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
